The joyful classroom is well equipped for learning fun (Numerous educational games), and to rest in the corner with a hammock nap, or enjoy the joy of listening to stories read to space. There is also a small forest where we spend much time playing or collecting material for our various creations. Here, we adapt the most to the wishes of children, while trying to come up workshops artwork, music, ... Any idea is welcome!

The volunteer house, library and much more ...

Until 2008, the volunteers were housed in a house near the village square and is also the class library and evening classes . Manguiwa community had a building (in poor condition) free to use. The house was made available to the school builds upon the various projects.

Many ideas are being developed. Home is open to all to access the library, a computer room with internet connection. Evening classes are given free to the villagers, all ages, and a court of English adapted to the needs of artisans market located in the central square of Salasaca. Animations are organized ... All that is still being organized ...

The computer room

Sometimes the electricity is off and the library is found in the dark. Meanwhile, activities are organized. Here, children make with Natasha signs to be used for smaller during the dance honoring the Earth Mother.

The volunteers are accommodated at home Pachamama (Mother Earth in Quechua), a nice little hotel that the school rents. It is 10 minutes walk from the bibliothèqueet about 25 minutes from the central square of Salasaca. The view is sublime and the environment, natural and quiet, since it is au milieu des champs et assez éloignée d'une des routes principales du village. Le petit déjeûner y est servi du lundi au vendredi par Roberto, et les repas du soir s'organisent aux goûts des volontaires.

The evolution of the main building (2009-2010) and other annexes

Depuis longtemps, Roberto avait cette idée d'agrandir the main building. He has asked Sophie, a volunteer from the United States, a gift for drawing, draw a sketch of the current situation and future plans. Here are the sketches:

In 2009, thanks to numerous donations, the site could be run during the summer. Here the school before the work begins:

Many people work together, voluntarily, to this construction:

Using a backhoe will be welcome:

Then the work will be done manually:

Here are the results:)

The kitchen and canteen

As for the rest, the structure has evolved slowly with the arrival of financial donations and the goodwill of volunteers. After construction, the artistic touch is important because giving color to the school is beneficial for all.

The cook, Marta Rufino and teachers and Antoñita

The canteen is used Monday through Friday for the morning break (nutritional drink and when possible, or other cereal bar) and lunch.
A cook works part-time, it is often assisted by a volunteer. Meals are often vegetable soup or a plate of rice with vegetables. When the budget allows, there is added meat to the soup or dish.
